Host plants. Castanea crenata, Quercus acutissima, Q. crispula, Q. mongolica subsp. crispula, Q. serrata [ Fagaceae] in Japan (Kumata 1963a; Kamijoi 1990a; Ishida et al. 2004; De Prins & De Prins 2006 –2023).
