Genus Phlebonotus Saussure, 1862

Type species: Phoraspis pallens Audinet-Serville, 1831 . By monotypy.

Note. The genus Phlebonotus was established for the single species P. pallens from "Indes orientalis " (Audinet-Serville 1831). Later, a second species, P. anomalus Saussure, 1863, was added to this genus (Saussure 1863). The structure of the male genitalia of P. pallens and P. anomalus was briefly described by Roth (1972).
