Material examined. CHINA: Sichuan: 10♂♂, Emeishan, Xianfeng Temple, 29°33′N, 103°21′E, alt. 1500–1700 m, 25.IIV.2012, Peng, Dai & Yin leg. (SHNU).

Measurements. BL: 4.7–4.8 mm, FL: 2.4–2.6 mm. HW: 0.92–0.96 mm, PL: 0.78–0.82 mm, PW: 0.78–0.81 mm, EL: 1.12–1.16 mm, EW: 1.09–1.16 mm, SL: 0.93–0.98 mm. Head 0.83–0.86 times as wide as elytra, pronotum 1.00–1.01 times as long as wide, elytra 1.00–1.06 times as long as wide.

Distribution. China (Sichuan).

Remarks. The species is now only known from Emeishan where an extremely similar species, Dianous aerator Puthz, 2016, also occurs in the same habitat. In original description, Zheng didn’t indicate whether his figures were based on holotype or not. Thus, examining the holotype of the species will be necessary to clarify the status of these two species.
