Material examined. CHINA: Yunnan: 3♂♂, Lijiang City, Hutiaoxia, alt. 1700m, 1.VIII.2010, Xiao-Bing Song leg. (SHNU).

Measurements. BL: 4.8–4.9 mm, FL: 2.6–2.9 mm. HW: 0.93–0.95 mm, PL: 0.74–0.80 mm, PW: 0.76–0.82 mm, EL: 1.20–1.27 mm, EW: 1.19–1.29 mm, SL: 1.06–1.08 mm. Head 0.73–0.78 times as wide as elytra, pronotum 0.95–0.99 times as long as wide, elytra 0.98–1.01 times as long as wide.

Male. Sternite VII (Fig. 12, 18) impressed at posteromedian part delimited by edged ridge on each side, posterior margin of the impression emarginated with long projection on each side; sternite VIII (Fig. 20) with deep emargination in the middle of posterior margin which is 0.27 times as long as the sternite; sternite IX (Fig. 28) with apicolateral projections indistinct, posterior margin serrate. Aedeagus (Figs. 36, 37) slender, median lobe gradually tapering apicad and pointed at apex, apical sclerotized area slightly twisted on right side with numerous long and short setae ventrally; parameres broaden at apical third, each with 11–13 setae on inner side of apical portion.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Remarks. The species was described on a female from Yulongshan of Lijiang. The above male specimens fit the description of the female holotype in all aspects and were collected from a locality very close to the type locality. For these reasons, we believe these are the males of D. brevicornis .
