Physa fontinalis (Linnaeus, 1758)

Regional distribution. SeVeral tenS of SpecimenS of Physa fontinalis haVe been found by uS in SampleS from the Khoit Dalai Nuur Lake near Dorgon Settlement (14.07.2012; leg. D.M. PalatoV), and from a channel of the Kherlen RiVer near Ondorkhaan Town (19.06.2010, leg. D.M. PalatoV). Earlier, MartenS (1882) recorded thiS SpecieS from Northern Mongolia (Eter gol RiVer).

Extra-limital distribution. Ph. fontinalis iS a SpecieS widely diStributed in weStern Palearctic, Europe to WeStern Siberia (Taylor 2003).

Morphology. The SnailS of Mongolia morphologically are Very Similar to Physa fontinalis from Europe and WeStern Siberia.
