Compared material. Atractides propatulus (K. Viets, 1935): Lectotype ♂, here designated (on the same slide with the paralectotype, one palp and right I-leg separate), SMF 4322 Atractides propatulus ♂, type, K.Viets 42768, Java, Tjibodas, 1400 m, Kali Tjiwalen, 14.7.1929. Paralectotypes SMF 4322 1♂ (on the same slide with lectotype), SMF 4336 1♀ (both palps and left I-leg-5/6 separate), labeled like lectotype. The original description does not contain a type designation.
Remarks. The specimens from Borneo differ in larger dimensions of idiosoma, I-leg-5/6 and palp. For clearing the taxonomic state of these populations, molecular techniques should be applied.
Distribution. South Sumatra (K. Viets 1935), Sulawesi (Pešić & Smit 2009), Borneo (our study).
