Platambus wewalkai Brancucci, 1982: 120 (org. descr.); Ghosh & Nilsson 2012: 10 (catalogue); Nilsson 2015: 33 (catalogue); Nilsson & Hájek 2015: 12 (catalogue).

Material studied: 2 males and 2 females: “ Pakistan, Kaghan Valley near Shigran [= Shogran, 34°38'23.44"N 73°27'26.25"E] 2200 m 20 VIII 2004 leg. V. Gurko” (CMP, CLH).

Remarks. The species was described from Indian Kashmir/Jammu, near the Banihal Tunnel and only known by the type material. This is the first record for Pakistan.
