Distribution. Southeastern Europe including Croatia, Romania, southern part of European Russia, Ukraine; Turkey, Transcaucasia, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan (Amsel 1970; Slamka 2013; de Jong et al. 2014) and Iran: Diskh Mt. (Fars Province) and Gorgan (Golestan Province) (Lederer 1871; Amsel 1961).

Remarks. The veins and cross lines of examined specimens are mostly brown with a hardly visible green-yellow tint (Fig. 23D). A few specimens have slightly darker veins and cross lines. Only two specimens (collected from Kashan and Kerman) have forewing with a brown medial area and white markings (Fig. 23E).
