Distribution. Dalmatia (Dubrovnik), north Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia (including the regions of Kosovo and Vojvodina), Slovenia, Ukraine; S Russia; Turkey, Armenia, Central Asia, Transcaspia (Slamka 2013; de Jong et al. 2014).
Remarks. The width of the white cross band of the hindwing is slightly variable among the studied material, and some specimens have relatively narrower bands. This species is newly reported for the fauna of Iran.
