Type material. Holotype: ♀, CHINA: Hunan Province: Gongshan County, Dulongjiang Township, Gaoligong Moutain (27°40.7214′N, 98°18.4578′E), 1433 m a.s.l., Malaise trap, 16 August 2016, leg. M.J. Luo.
Etymology. The specific name is a Latin noun meaning "aunt". It refers to the resemblance of the new species to A. mae, whose name mae means "mother".
Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished from A. mae by: 1) the anterior part of copulatory ducts, which are narrower (Figs 6F, 7B) than those of A. mae (Dankittipakul & Singtripop 2014: figs 12, 19); 2) accessory glands shorter (Fig. 7B) than those of A. mae (Dankittipakul & Singtripop 2014: fig. 19); 3) chelicerae with six retromarginal teeth, whereas with only three in A. mae . Male unknown.
Description. Female (Figs 6, 8 A–B). Holotype: body 15.20 long; carapace 6.69 long, 5.18 wide, width/length = 0.77; abdomen 8.51 long, 5.73 wide. Body colouration as in genus description. Diameters of eyes: AME 0.39, ALE 0.29, PME 0.32, PLE 0.30. Eye interdistances: AME–AME 0.25, AME–ALE 0.19, ALE–ALE 1.39, PME– PME 0.39, PME–PLE 0.48, PLE–PLE 1.96, ALE–PLE 0.17. OAW 2.24, CRW 3.34, OAW/CRW = 0.67. CRW/ carapace width = 0.64. MOA 0.78 long, front width 1.01, back width 0.98. Clypeus height 0.35, 0.90 times of AME diameter. Chelicerae with three promarginal teeth, six retromarginal teeth. Labium 1.17 long, 0.98 wide. Sternum 3.17 long, 2.60 wide. Measurements of legs: I 19.33 (5.61 + 2.59 + 4.68 + 4.18 + 2.27), II 18.80 (5.50 + 2.41 + 4.44 + 4.23 + 2.22), III 15.98 (4.68 + 2.16 + 3.59 + 3.66 + 1.86), IV 20.66 (5.63 + 2.27 + 4.95 + 5.87 + 1.94). Leg formula: 4123. Leg spination: femora I pl 1 do 2, II pl 1–2 do 2, III–IV pl 1 do 3 rl 1; tibiae I–II plv 4 rlv 4, III pl 2 rl 2 plv 2 rlv 2, IV pl 2 rl 2 plv 2 rlv 1; metatarsi I–II plv 2 rlv 2, III–IV plv 2 rlv 2 vt 3.
Epigyne (Figs 6 E–F, 7A): epigynal region heavily sclerotized; copulatory openings large and oval, with inverted V-shaped arrangement. Vulva (Figs 6G, 7B): copulatory ducts thick, anterior part slightly narrower than width of copulatory openings; accessory glands small and short; spermathecae reniform, almost transverse; fixed sclerites not fused posteriorly.
