Remarks. Specimens from Outeniqua (Western Cape) probably belong to another species which differs from F. amyliuae sp. nov. by the number (2+2 vs. 3+3) and shape (more pointed) of spines at distal edge of manubrium, thicker s6 and s7 on Abd.V (Fig. 34) and only one (vs two) short s-chaetae on Ant.I. The form from Baviaanskloof (Eastern Cape) shares all characters with F.amyliuae sp. nov. apart from 2+2 spines on the manubrium. In Outeniqua, in mixture with the species mentioned above, juveniles of an obviously larger species of Folsomotoma with very long medial accp-s-chaetae on Abd.IV (Fig. 35) were detected. They may be close to Folsomotoma subflava (Salmon) as redescribed by Greenslade (1986). Further study may shed more light on these species.
