Generic diagnosis. Body medium. Wingless. Hind femora with some long and stout inner spines and small outer spines on ventral margin; hind tibiae strongly curved, dorsal surface with reduced spines. Male ninth abdominal tergite divided in the middle, forming 2 lateral lobes, the apices specialized; tenth abdominal tergite interrupted in the middle; subgenital plate without styli, posterior margin obviously concave, its lateral lobes slightly bifurcate apically. Posterior margin of female subgenital plate almost truncate, ovipositor short, apices obtusely rounded.
Species included. Up to now three species of the genus are known, i.e. Apterolarnaca apta Gorochov, 2004, Apterolarnaca ulla Gorochov, 2004, and Apterolarnaca truncatoloba (Li & Liu, 2015) com. nov. . Two new species from China are described below.
