TYPE LOCALITY: C Zaire, Lukolela .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

COMMENTS: Originally described as a subspecies of P. jacksoni (Hatt, 1934b), and then treated as a subspecies of P. tullbergi (Petter, 1975c), minor is a distinct species in the P. jacksoni complex (Van der Straeten and Dudu, 1990) .
