TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: of A. borussicus: Rauschen [Svetlogorsk] (Samland), Russia, in moss and Tharden (Osterode), Germany, on rotten beech leaves; of A. magniscutum: Strandkjaer, Denmark, in soil; of A. rarus: Manta, Moldova, in nest of Sorex araneus [Animalia: Soricidae].

NOTE: Gwiazdowicz (2007: 55) questioned the synonymy of A. magniscutum under A. borussicus .
