TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: tropical rain forest, Ecuador, in litter and sparse moss from places under bushes.

NOTE: the morphological characteristics provided in the original description of this species suggest that it could belong to a different genus, but they are not sufficient to indicate to which genus it belongs.
