TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, on Pentatomidae [Animalia: Hemiptera].

NOTE: the original description of this species suggests that it probably belongs to the family Otopheidomenidae (reduced dorsal setation, anal shield displaced somewhat posteriorly, apparently parasitic habit). Despite our efforts, we have not been able to examine the type specimens to reach a definite conclusion.
