TYPE LOCALITY: E Zaire, Itombwe Mtns, "Nzombe (Mwenga)" .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

STATUS: IUCN - Insufficiently known.

COMMENTS: Provisionally named by Heim de Balsac (19666); full description by Heim de Balsac (1967). The type locality was later erroneously shifted to the "Albert N. P." (Heim de Balsac and Meester, 1977); Nzombe is located in the Itombwe Mountains (Hutterer, 1986c).
