Diagnosis
Male genitalia: Uncus and gnathos simple, without armature. Tegumen with dorsal sclerotized thickening rectangular, Xshaped, or triangular. Subteguminal process speciesspecific in shape, platelike, spinelike, lobelike, or tuberclelike. Valva simple, moreorless rectangular, with few differences. Juxta simple, platelike. Coremata present. Saccus usually rounded. Manica lined with minute spines, some species with two groups of spines. Aedeagus usually elongate, often with variously shaped cornuti, mostly spinelike. Female genitalia: Ostium bursae usually broad, lined with minute spines; ductus bursae sclerotized in some species; corpus bursae moreorless rounded, often densely lined with minute spines.
