Smetana, 2001: 195 ( Type locality: Sichuan: road Xichang-Yanyuan, pass 15 km SW of Pingchuan, 27°33’N, 101°49’E) ; Smetana, 2004: 673 (Catalog of Palaearctic Region); Schülke & Smetana, 2015: 1085 (Catalog of Palaearctic Region).

Material examined. CHINA: Yunnan Province [New Record]: 1 male, 1 female, Lijiang, Yulongxueshan, 3000 m, broad-leaved forest, pitfall traps, 11.VI.1990, coll. Shaoguang Cong (IZ-CAS).

Measurements. Body length: 15.4–15.6 mm. CL: 0.80; EL: 2.40; ELS: 1.14; EW: 2.80; HL: 2.27; HW: 2.61; PO: 0.97; PL: 2.67; PW: 2.37.

Distribution. Before this study Miobdelus biseriatus was only recorded from Sichuan Province; it is recorded for the first time from Yunnan Province.
