Material examined. CHINA: Ningxia Province [New Record]: 5 males, 2 females, Liupanshan, Dongshanpo forest farm, 2100 m, broad-leaved forest, pitfall traps, 7.VII.2008, coll. Haisheng Zhou & Zhongyi Zhao (IZ-CAS); 5 males, Liupanshan, Fengtai forest farm, 2300 m, junction of forest and grass, pitfall traps, 3.VII.2008, coll. Haisheng Zhou & Zhongyi Zhao (IZ-CAS); 5 males, Liupanshan, Erlonghe forest farm, 2000 m, forest near stream, pitfall traps, 23.VI.2008, coll. Haisheng Zhou & Zhongyi Zhao (IZ-CAS); 1 female, Liupanshan, Erlonghe forest farm, 2300 m, forest near water, pitfall traps, 27.VI.2008, coll. Measurements. Body length: 12.2–17.2 mm. CL: 0.74; EL: 2.67; ELS: 1.46; EW: 2.75; HL: 2.04; HW: 2.20; PO: 0.83; PL: 2.53; PW: 2.16.
Distribution. Before this study Miobdelus atricornis was recorded from the Provinces of Gansu, Shaanxi, Sichuan and Yunnan; it is recorded for the first time from Ningxia Province.
