Choeroparnops scaberrimus comb. nov. (Piza, 1976)

Diophanes scaberrimus Piza, 1976

According to the description the species supposedly resembles Diophanes scabricolle, but it obviously belongs to the very different genus Choerparnops, which also belongs to a different tribe, Platyphyllini instead of Pterophyllini . Within that genus it is similar to C. forcipatus, but differs in pronotum shape, spination of hind legs, male subgenital plate, and measurements.
