Diagnosis: A medium-sized C. ( Morininoides) species with marked fine sculpture in the form of pits which are particularly prominent in the central valve area. Left valve larger than right valve.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 4217.

Paratypes: 2 carapaces under SMF Xe 4218 .

Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.93mm, height 0.55mm.
