Diagnosis: A subspecies of Ilhasina remanei n. g. n. sp. with a carapace which, in dorsal view, runs in a wedge shape towards the front and with a thick, node-shaped swelling on the posterior field of each valve. In contrast to I. remanei remanei n. sp. n. ssp. the swelling has a roundish outline (not elongated) and lies further away from the posterior margin of the valves.
Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 4652.
Paratypes: 2 carapaces, SMF Xe 4653 .
Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.71mm, height 0.40mm, width 0.40mm.
