Diagnosis: A species of the subgenus Morininoides achieving large growth (carapace length about 1.20mm) with deep pore dimples on the whole valve surface as well as four node-like valve swellings on each valve. The anterior nodes lie vertically one above the other, the postero-ventral node opposite the postero-dorsal node, slightly pushed backwards. Mostly the dorsal nodes are more strongly developed than the ventral ones, of which especially the foremost one can almost disappear. Flatter valve swellings can also occasionally appear amongst the four aforementioned nodes, especially in the position between the ventral nodes (mostly on the left valve) as well as on the upper anterior margin and the anterior cardinal angle.
Holotype: Carapace, BfB 7788.
Paratypes: 3 carapaces, BfB 7789.
Dimensions: Holotype, length 1.20mm, height 0.56mm (no width given in original paper).
