Diagnosis: A large subspecies of H. angulata (carapace length about 1.1mm) with the following peculiarities: the carapace fairly stocky and high, wide spindle-shaped in dorsal view. The slope of the dorsal margin to front and back is slightly indented. The posterior margin sits higher and is more distinctly angled than in H. a. symmetrica. The ventral margin is weakly indented.
Holotype: Carapace, BfB 7798.
Paratypes: Not deposited.
Dimensions: Holotype, length 1.14mm, height 0.77mm, width 0.64mm.
