Maruina (Maruina) jezeki Bravo, 2005: 642 .

Diagnosis. Combination of the following characters: Distance between eyes 7 facet diameters (Fig. 34); wing apex long and narrow, with distance from R 5 to R 4 2X the distance from R 4 to R 3; aedeagus with long and thin anterior spines and short and thick posterior spines.

Material examined. Type material: holotype: ♂ BRAZIL, Bahia, Cachoeira, Fazenda Vila Rial, 24.v.2004, col. F. Bravo (MZFS) ; Paratypes 2 ♂♂ same data . Other material: 1 ♂ Bahia, Camacan, Faz. Waldemar da Farmá- cia-MCAM1 28.iii.2011, Luz-bandeja, col. Calor, Quintero, Franote & Barreto (INPA) ; 1 ♂ BRAZIL, Minas Gerais, Cássia, Região do Lajeado, Sítio Genoveva, 20-29. xi. 2015, malaise (Sobre córrego), col. D.G. Pádua & A.G. Pádua (INPA) .

Distribution. Brazil (Bahia and Minas Gerais)

Holotype condition. Slide mounted, antenna incomplete, aedeagus in lateral view, separated from terminalia, which is in dorsal view.

Remarks. Maruina (M.) jezeki and M. (M.) kalyntrona have an elongated wing apex with R 5 conspicuously distant from other veins (Fig. 35), but they can be easily separated by the shape of the tenaculum, which has the more common clavate shape in M. (M.) jezeki, while it is distally frimbriated in the new species.
