The euplexina species-group

The euplexina group represented by single species A. euplexina which externally resembles A. yoshimotoi having similar type of wing pattern; but differs by moss-green with dark ground wing colouration; in the male genitalia it has large strong juxta, well separated relatively small cucullus with distinct neck, heavily developed short strong flattened harpe and small, vestigial lateral extension of sacculus; in aedeagus vesica short, armed with cutter-like cornutus on apical diverticula and group of four strong flat subbasal cornuti. Female genitalia are more similar to those of A. miraculosus, but differ by more conical ovipositor, wider membranous antrum and short sclerotised and ribbed ductus bursae. Similarly to A. miraculosus, this species group could be considered as specialized basal branch in the genus Atrovirensis.
