Walchia kritochaeta (Traub and Evans, 1957)

Distribution and hosts. This species was described from Thailand (Traub & Evans 1957) and later was recorded in China (Wen 1984a), Taiwan (Chung et al. 2015), Vietnam (Chau et al. 2007; Antonovskaia et al. 2017), and Cambodia (this study). It was found on 21 rodent species, one treeshrew, and one bird (Stekolnikov 2021).

Material examined. In total 29 larvae: three larvae (ZIN 14192, 14245, 14249) ex B. savilei No. C 0683, CAMBODIA, Mondulkiri Province, Keo Seima, 23 November 2009 ; 14 larvae (ZIN 14252–14258, 14260–14266) ex M. surifer C0681, same locality and date ; seven larvae (ZIN 14309–14312, 14314–14316,) ex M. surifer C0746, same locality, 27 November 2009 ; five larvae (ZIN 14319, 14320, 14322, 14324, 14326) ex M. surifer C0761, same locality, 28 November 2009 .
