The new synonymy is proposed by the comparison of the male paratype of A. aibussu, decribed from Pasco, Peru, with the female holotype of A. abaiba, described from Mato Grosso, Brazil.

Specimens examined. BRAZIL, Mato Grosso: Sinop (12 31´S, 55 37´W, km 500 – 600, road BR- 163, 350 m), female, X.1974, Alvarenga & Roppa leg. (holotype of A. abaiba, MNRJ); PERU, Junin: Chanchamayo, male, 22.XII.1948 (paratype of A. aibussu, MNRJ).
