Ctenoscina macrocarpa (Chevreux, 1905)
Southwest Atlantic: 1090267, 6/383, [56°04’S 56°05’W], 1693–1821 m. Southeast Pacific: ex. 1013464, 10/ 793, [64.275°S 82.608°W], 3294 m; ex. 1013465, 10/779, [59.7°S 82.408°W], 2053 m. Southwest Pacific: 1090266, 11/901, [62°15’S 114°43’W], 3477–3678 m.
Remarks: This species is known only from a few specimens, mainly from the North Atlantic and the Philippine and Kurile-Kamchatka trenches of the North Pacific. Like the previous species it seems to prefer deepwaters (1500–5000 m). Five specimens are recorded here for the first time from the Antarctic Zone of the Southwest Atlantic and Pacific Sectors. They are also the first records for the Southern Hemisphere.
