Scina similis Stebbing, 1895
Eastern Indian: 1013485, 6/35, [58.65°S 117.133°E], 750 m.
Remarks: A relatively common species known from scattered records, mainly from tropical regions of all the world’s oceans, including the Mediterranean Sea. It seems to be most common in near-surface waters (0–200 m). The only previous record from Antarctic waters is from the Western Indian Ocean Sector, north-east of Prydz Bay (Wagler 1927). The above record from the Eastern Indian Ocean Sector confirms its occurrence in that region.
