Clinocentrus exsertor (Nees, 1811)

Material examined. Guilan province: Roodsar, Rahim abad, Ziaz (36°52′34.44″ N, 50°13′17.40″ E, 537 m a. s. l.), 03.v.2010, 1♀; 14.vi.2010, 1♀; 11.vii.2010, 1♀, 1♂; 19.vii.2010, 1♀; 25.vii.2010, 1♀; 02.viii.2010, 1♀; leg. A. Nadimi.

Diagnostic characters (female). Body length 4.2–4.5 mm; antenna with 31–33 segments; face 1.5–1.7 × wider than its height (1.2–1.3 × longer than height of face and clypeus combined), hypoclypeal depression 1.6–1.8 × its distance from compound eye (Fig. 15 A); ocelli small, postocellar line as long as ocellar diameter or slightly longer (1.2 ×), ocular-ocellar line 2.5–2.8 × longer than ocellar diameter (Fig. 15 B), length of compound eye 1.5– 1.7 × longer than temple in dorsal view (Fig. 15 B); vein 3-SR of fore wing as long as or 1.2 × longer than vein r (Fig. 15 C); first and second metasomal tergites densely striae, third tergite with curved striae, distal third with transverse striae, ovipositor sheath 1.1–1.3 × longer than first-third metasomal tergites.

Coloration. Body yellowish (Fig. 15 D), rarely brownish, antenna yellowish or brownish, head yellowish except stemmaticum and vertex black, mesoscutum, scutellum and lower part of mesopleuron yellowish, legs yellowish; metasoma yellowish, first, second and third metasomal tergites black (Fig. 15 D).

General distribution. Nearctic, eastern and western Palaearctic.

Distribution in Iran. Isfahan (Ghahari et al. 2011c) and Guilan province (current study).
