TYPE DATA. — Paradiscocyrtus neglectus: Brazil • “Itatiaia”, without further locality data; whereabouts unknown • ♂ neotype (examined); Minas Gerais, Itamonte, Parque Nacional de Itatiaia; MNRJ 5578 † (lost in the 2018 fire in Museu Nacional).

Discocyrtus alticola: Brazil • ‘‘ Itatiaia’ ’, without further locality data; MNRJ 18198 (lost).

Discocyrtus perfidus: Brazil • 2 ♂ syntypes (examined); Rio de Janeiro, ‘‘Nictheroy’’ [ Niterói], locality probably mistaken (see Carvalho 2018); MNRJ 1419 † (lost in the 2018 fire in Museu Nacional).

DISTRIBUTION AND DIAGNOSIS. — Same as provided previously here for the genus Paradiscocyrtus .
