Mironovia pavodaptes (Casto, 1980) comb. nov.

Kalamotrypetes pavodaptes Casto, 1980: 237, figs. 3–4.

Type host: Meleagris gallopavo Linnaeus (Phasianidae) . Type locality: USA.

This species was originally described as Kalamotrypetes pavodaptes Casto collected ex Meleagris pavodaptes (Meleagridae) from Texas (USA) (Casto 1980). All characters of this species perfectly correspond to that of Mironovia (see genus Kalamotrypetes).
