Material examined. Gandoman wetland, Chaharmahal-va-Bakhtiari, (N 31° 49΄ 56.3˝, E 51° 08΄ 11.8˝), ~ 2200m, ZUTC 6041. Galougerd, Boldaji, Boroujen, (N 31° 54΄ 59˝, E 50° 51΄ 27˝), ~ 2200m, ZUTC 6045. Sibak, Sia sard cheshmeh, Boroujen suburb, (N 31° 52΄ 28˝, 50° 56΄ 1˝), 2440m, ZUTC 6048. (Fig. 1).
General distribution and habitats. Reported by Grosser (2013) from Eastern Serbia, Germany and Austria. Living in wetlands among aquatic vegetations and muddy substrate of littoral zones. A new record for Iran.
Descriptive features and remarks. Large leeches. Cylindrical in anterior and flattened in posterior with lateral keels. Uni-colored grayish or brownish gray with no stripes, lines or spots. Small papillae present. Genital pores separated by 2.5 or three annuli. Accessory genital pores as distinctive features of species.
