Type species. Calosargus (Calosargus) tatianae Mostovski, 1997

Stratigraphic and geographic range. The Middle/Upper Jurassic; Kazakhstan, China.

Diagnosis. Subgenus Calosargus Mostovski, 1997 differs from subgenus Pterosargus Mostovski, 1997 in veins M1 and M2 distinctly separated at base, vein M3 absent, and cell br nearly as wide as cell bm.
