Jafuna melichari Distant 1912b: 648 . (Tamatave, Madagascar)
Remarks.—The single species is small (body length about 16 mm, wingspan about 42 mm), greenish, with an extended anterior postclypeus, a distinctive piceous foveate mesonotal spot anterior to anterior arms of cruciform elevation, apices of tibiae and tarsi red (Distant 1912b). The generic characters can also be used to distinguish the species.
Distribution.—The species is known only from Madagascar (Metcalf 1963b). Jacobi (1917) reported the species from Tamatave, western Madagascar.
