Anopercalna viettii Boulard 2008: 169 . (John and Katherine MacArthur Forest Reserve, Region of Tanambao-Tampolo, eastern Madagascar)

Remarks.—A greenish-brown species with red on the head and a reddish costal margin. Body length is about 17.5 mm, wingspan is about 51 mm (Boulard 2008). The song is a repeating series of syllables (Boulard 2008).

Distribution.—The species is known only from Madagascar (Sanborn 2013). The only known locality is the type locality of John and Katherine MacArthur Forest Reserve, Region of Tanambao-Tampolo, eastern Madagascar (Boulard 2008).
