Yanga antiopa (Karsch, 1890)

Platypleura antiopa Karsch 1890: 88 . (Madagascar)

Remarks.—One of four species with the hind wings piceous or piceous-brown. It can be distinguished from Y. brancsiki (Distant, 1893), Y. heathi (Distant, 1899) and Y. hova (Distant, 1901) by the lighter areas in the distal hind wing apical cells and lack of white margins or apical areas. The species has a body length about 38 mm and a wingspan about 108 mm (Karsch 1890).

Distribution.—The species is only known from Madagascar (Metcalf 1963a).
