Abroma antandroyae Boulard 2008: 165 . (Region of Fort Dauphin, 22 km north of Ambovombré, Madagascar)

Remarks.—One of the larger Madagascar species, body length 18.5 mm, wingspan 52 mm (Boulard 1999). A castaneous species significantly marked with piceous, a primarily piceous abdomen with castaneous and white pubescence on lateral tergites 2 and 3. The song is a series of rapidly produced syllables with the syllable frequency decreasing as the song ends (Boulard 2008).

Distribution.—The species is known only from Madagascar (Sanborn 2013). Boulard (2008) reports the species from Region of Fort Dauphin, 22 km north of Ambovombré, Madagascar.
