Label locality: ‘ Tahiti’.

Type material: Lectotype NHMUK 1968228/1 and 3 paralectotypes 1968228/2-4 (H. Cuming collection). Indirect lectotype selection by inference of holotype (Cernohorsky, 1969: 213).

Remarks: ‘Suva, Fiji Is.’ designated as type locality by Bratcher & Cernohorsky (1987: 82).
