Label locality: ‘Philippines, 100-110 fath., ‘Challenger’ Exped.’, ‘St.204’.

Collected: Challenger Expedition, 1873-1876.

Type material: Lectotype NHMUK 1887.2.9.1159 and 1 paralectotype NHMUK 1887.2.9.1160 . Indirect lectotype selection by inference of holotype (Cernohorsky, 1969: 217).
