Label locality: ‘ Cape Natal’.

Type material: Lectotype NHMUK 197974/1 and 1 paralectotype NHMUK 197974/2 (H. Cuming collection). Indirect lectotype selection by inference of holotype (Cernohorsky, 1969: 220).

Remarks: ‘Bahia Santa Maria, Baja California, Mexico’ designated as type locality by Bratcher & Cernohorsky (1987: 141).
