Diagnostic characters: AR 2.5, superior volsella thumb-shaped, and posterior margin of tergite IX with projection covering the base of the anal point (Goetghebuer 1937 –54; Pinder 1978).
Distribution: The species occurs in the Palaearctic region. It is recorded from the Russian Far East (Makarchenko et al. 2005).
