Paracladopelma kamalanagari (Maheshwari et Agarwal) Comb. n.
Cladopelma kamalanagari Maheshwari et Agarwal, 1993: 169 .
Remarks: The species was described from Agra in India (Maheshwari & Agarwal 1993). However, the species is not included in the checklist of the chironomid from the Indian subcontinent (Chaudhuri et al. 2001). We have not seen type specimens, but based on the original descriptions and illustrations the species is tentatively transferred to Paracladopelma as it has a short gonostylus, slender, cylindrical superior volsella, and a big, pad-liked inferior volsella, characters which all fit the diagnosis of Paracladopelma .
