Note. Analysis of polytene chromosomes of S. colombaschense revealed the existence of five cytoformes, but only one of them—corresponding to S. colombaschense described from Iron Gate of the Danube—was recorded in the Danube and its tributaries (Adler et al. 2016). One of the other cytoforms might correspond to S. voilense, but a population from the type locality of S. voilense was not studied chromosomally; therefore, the validity, identity and distribution of this species remain unclear.
