Type material. Holotype ♀, India: Kerala Palakkad district, Nelliampathy forests (10° 31′ N & 76° 41′ E, 1500 m), 18.vi.1995, Coll. A. Mahesh Kumar, (ZSIK) Regd. No. ZSI/ WGRC /IR/INV.1301. Examined . Paratype 1♀, India: Kerala Palakkad district, Silent Valley National Park (11° 8′ N & 76° 28′ E, 2000 m), 18.v.1995, Coll. C. F. Binoy.
Diagnosis. Body length 19.0 mm, ovipositor sheath length 28.0 mm. Frons with longitudinal irregular carinae and pits; vertex with two distinct cross carinae followed by distinct close and a distinct medial pitted longitudinal fovea; neck anteriorly emarginate; pronotum trans-carinate anteriorly, turning finely reticulate posteriorly; mesoscutum anteriorly cross reticulate, without a medial line of pits; scutellum smooth, shiny and faintly reticulate with shallow pits on sides; metapleuron irregularly rugose punctate; hind coxa irregularly rugose basally turning circular annulated elsewhere; hind femora tridentate ventrally with a couple of denticles in between; first metasomal tergite annulate, a little shorter than combined length of remaining segments; ovipositor sheath longer than metasoma, with a subapical ivory band.
