New material. CHINA. GUANGXI. Nanning, Mt. Damingshan: 12 males, sweep-net, 25.V.2011, Ting-Ting Zhang [SM01301–01311, SM01313]; 2 males, sweep-net, 23.V.2011, Ting-Ting Zhang [SM01317–01318]. Diagnosis. The species is characterized by the dark brown body, the body size (4.2–4.8 mm) distinctly larger than the most species in Dolichosciara, the subparallel-sided gonostylus with 9–12 apicomesial megasetae and a few setae on intercoxal area on the hypopygium.
Distribution. China (Guangxi – new record; Fig. 11); Nepal, India, Thailand (Menzel, 1995). Remarks. This species was first recorded from Nepal (Menzel, 1995), and is new to China. The Chinese specimens examined show no distinct differences from the type specimen.
