Solabra robusta Luo & Huang sp. nov. (Fig. 9)

Description. Length of male 3.35–3.90mm. Crown yellowish with big black spot on vertex (Figs 9C, 9D). Pronotum yellowish with posterior angles brown; scutum yellowish, triangles brown, scutellum dark brown (Figs 9A, 9B). Forewing yellowish with infuscate and brown patches as in Fig. 9E. Hind wing transparent (Fig. 9F).

Abdominal apodeme not reaching to end of 3rd sternite (Fig. 9G). Pygofer side with both posterior margin of upper and lower lobes bluntly rounded, disc with numerous microsetae, lower lobe with sclerotized spiny teeth laterally and rigid microsetae ventroposteriorly (Fig. 9I). Subgenital plate with apical 1/3 narrowed and curved dorsally, ventral surface with microsetae (Figs 9H, 9J). Paramere thin, apical part pigmented and handle shaped with small grooves on central part (Fig. 9K). Connective Y-shaped (Fig. 9L). Aedeagal shaft thick and short, apex curved dorsad, preatrium short, dorsal apodeme membranous (Figs 9M, 9N).

Material examined. Holotype. ♂, China, Hunan Province, Badagong Mountain, 4-VIII-2022, coll. Yuanyuan Song. Paratypes. 22♂, same data as holotype; 38♂, Hubei Province, Xingdou Mountain National Nature Reserve, 10-VII-2022, coll. Juan Zhou ; 4♂, Shaanxi Province, Mei County, Songping Temple, alt. 1100m, 2-VI-2022, coll. Yusen Du ; 9♂, Sichuan Province, Huagaoxi National Nature Reserve, 5-VII-2023, coll. Yuanyuan Song ; 1♂, same data as the former except 6-VII-2023 .

Etymology. The species name is from the Latin word “robustus (thick)”, referring to the thick aedeagal shaft.

Note. The new species is not closely related to other species of Alebrini because of the rare pronotum color pattern, the macrosetae-lacking subgenital plate and the thick and short aedeagual shaft.
