Eucopia australis Dana, 1852

Record from Indonesia. South of Java Island (Taniguchi 1974), Papua and Banda Sea (Fage 1942). Depth range: 2970–7120 m.

Remarks. This species is distinguished from the other species of Eucopia by the distal segment of the uropodal exopods which is about as long as broad, and the outer margin of the proximal segment without medial pointed protuberance (Dana 1852; San Vicente 2016).
